Kichler Northland 12in 1-Light Outdoor Wall Sconce | Rustic Matte Black and White Inner | Covered Porch & Entryway | 12 x 10 x 12 in | Model 49775BK

A 12-inch outdoor wall sconce from the Northland collection, finished in matte black with a white inner shade, designed for covered porches and entryways.

The Northland outdoor wall lantern combines a rugged matte black exterior with a crisp white inner finish, creating a vintage factory-inspired look that casts a warm, inviting glow. Built from durable materials and rated for wet locations, this fixture brings industrial charm to any exterior wall.

Best for

• Covered porches and patios where a compact, weather-resistant light is needed
• Entryways and mudrooms, mounted beside the door for a welcoming accent
• Garage or shed exteriors, providing task lighting near doors
• Hallways and corridors in rustic or lodge-style homes

Not ideal for

• Large open areas requiring bright, widespread illumination - this is a single 100W incandescent fixture
• Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft if mounted low, as the 12-inch depth may protrude

How bright is it?

Uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb chosen; with a standard 100W bulb, expect approximately 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent or task lighting, but not sufficient as a primary light source for large rooms.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulb installed. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulb. The white inner shade softens and diffuses light, reducing glare.
