Description
A 6-inch dome path light in Textured Black, designed for low-voltage landscape lighting along walkways and garden beds.
This Kichler Dome Path Light features a smaller 6-inch shade in a popular Textured Black finish. Made of durable aluminum, it provides subtle accent lighting for pathways, driveways, and garden borders. The low-voltage design (12V) is energy-efficient and easy to install with a compatible transformer.
Best for
- Garden walkways and pathways, spaced 6-8 ft apart for even illumination
- Driveway edges and landscape borders, defining the perimeter
- Flower beds and shrubbery, highlighting plants with soft uplighting
- Low-voltage landscape lighting systems, paired with a 12V transformer
Not ideal for
- High-traffic areas requiring bright security lighting—this is an accent light
- Direct burial without conduit—check local codes
How bright is it?
Uses a xenon bulb (not included). Typical xenon path lights produce 100-200 lumens, providing a soft glow that outlines paths without glare.
Light color and feel
Xenon bulbs produce a warm, incandescent-like light (around 2700K-3000K). The dome shade directs light downward, creating a gentle pool of light.
