Description
A 17-inch outdoor wall sconce from Kichler's Allenbury collection, finished in textured black with rustic styling, designed for wet locations.
The Allenbury outdoor wall light brings a rugged, lodge-inspired look to your home's exterior. Its textured black finish and rustic design make it a natural fit for covered patios, entryways, and other outdoor living spaces. Rated for wet locations, it stands up to rain and snow.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, mounted on walls near seating areas
- Entryways and front doors, flanking the door for symmetrical lighting
- Garage or shed exteriors, providing security and ambiance
- Outdoor kitchens or BBQ areas, as task lighting
Not ideal for
- Fully exposed locations without overhead cover - though wet-rated, the fixture is best under an eave or overhang
- Small spaces under 4 ft wide - the 17 in length may overwhelm
- Modern or contemporary exteriors - the rustic style suits traditional, lodge, or farmhouse homes
How bright is it?
Uses one medium-base bulb (not included). With a standard 60W equivalent LED, expect about 800 lumens - enough for ambient outdoor lighting or accenting a doorway.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on your choice. For a warm, inviting outdoor glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED. The fixture's open design casts light upward and downward.
Sizing and fit
Fixture length 17.25 in, width 12 in, height 9 in. Weighs 1 lb. Backplate dimensions not specified; typical for outdoor sconces. Works well on walls 4 ft wide or more.
