Description
A 48-inch extension downrod in Satin Black for ceiling fans, designed to lower the fan to the optimal height in rooms with high ceilings.
This Kichler downrod extends your ceiling fan by 48 inches, allowing proper airflow and aesthetics in rooms with ceilings 10 ft or higher. Made of steel with a Satin Black finish, it fits fans with a 1-inch outer diameter downrod connection.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings 10-12 ft high where a standard downrod is too short
- Great rooms, vaulted living areas, and two-story spaces
- Kichler ceiling fans requiring a 1-inch OD downrod
Not ideal for
- Fans with a different downrod diameter (check compatibility)
- Standard 8-9 ft ceilings where a shorter downrod is sufficient
Style and finish
Satin Black finish - a matte black with a subtle sheen that complements most modern and transitional fan styles.
