Description
A 14-inch single-light pendant in matte black with a clear seedy glass shade, made for kitchen islands, dining areas, and entryways.
The Nova collection pairs a crisp matte black finish with clear seedy glass, giving this pendant a modern look with a little glam. The seedy glass softens the bulb's glare while adding texture, so the light feels warm rather than harsh. It hangs from included rods and works with sloped ceilings up to 45 degrees.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars where you want focused task light over a counter
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks in small-to-medium spaces
- Entryways and foyers that need a single statement pendant
- Reading nooks or bedrooms where a single downlight works better than a large fixture
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry indoor locations only
- Rooms where you need broad ambient light - a single 60W pendant is a focused light, not a room-filler
- Very low ceilings if you want the full 51.25-inch hanging height
How bright is it?
800 lumens with the recommended 60W bulb - roughly the brightness of a standard 60W incandescent. That's enough for focused task light over a counter or table, but not enough to light a whole room on its own.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose - this fixture ships without a bulb. Pair it with a warm white (2700K-3000K) LED for a soft, inviting glow, or a cooler white (4000K) for a crisper task-light feel. Dimmable with standard wall dimmers when used with a dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
14 inches wide by 15.25 inches tall, with a maximum hanging height of 51.25 inches using the included rods. The 5.25-inch backplate fits most standard ceiling junction boxes. Adjustable for sloped ceilings up to 45 degrees.
