Description
A single-light semi-flush mount with blown gold ombre glass and a matte black frame, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and entryways.
The Gatsby semi-flush sits close to the ceiling while still showing off its hand-blown glass shade, which fades from clear to warm gold. The matte black canopy keeps the look modern and quiet. It is a natural fit for rooms with standard 8 ft ceilings where a hanging pendant would feel too low.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with 8 ft ceilings
- Hallways, landings, and stairwells that need a low-profile light
- Entryways and foyers where a pendant would hang too low
- Pairing with other Gatsby pieces for a consistent look
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Sloped ceilings - this model is not rated for them
- Large rooms that need a broad, bright wash of light
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes one 60W E26 bulb, roughly the brightness of a standard 60W incandescent - good for accent and ambient light in a small to mid-size room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The gold ombre glass softens and warms the light, so a 2700K-3000K bulb gives a cozy golden glow. Dimmable with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
The shade is 8.5 in wide and 8.75 in tall; overall height is 12.5 in. It sits close to the ceiling, so it works well in rooms with 8 ft ceilings. The 5.25 in backplate fits standard junction boxes.
