Quoizel Thorpe 8in 1-Light Mini Pendant | Traditional Mottled Black and Clear Glass | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | Model TPE1508MB

A compact 1-light mini pendant for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and dining nooks, finished in Mottled Black with clear tempered glass panels.

The Thorpe mini pendant pairs a traditional rectangular frame with clear tempered glass, giving it a crisp, architectural look that works indoors and in covered outdoor spaces. The Mottled Black finish has a subtle, hand-rubbed texture that hides fingerprints and stands up to daily use, while the Coastal Armour aluminum construction resists rust and fading.

Best for

• Kitchen islands and breakfast bars - hang one over a sink or in pairs over a peninsula
• Dining nooks and eat-in kitchens where you want focused light without a large fixture
• Covered porches and entryways that need a matching indoor-outdoor look
• Foyers and stairwells with 9-10 ft ceilings

Not ideal for

• Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you plan to use the full 8 ft chain
• Spaces that need bright, whole-room illumination - this is a single 100W accent pendant
• Bathrooms or fully exposed outdoor areas - rated for dry and damp locations only

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 100W medium-base bulb it delivers roughly 1,600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent - which is plenty for task lighting over a counter but not enough to light a whole room on its own.

Light color and feel

Light color is set by your bulb. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, golden glow that flatters wood cabinets and stone counters; a 4000K bulb reads cooler and more modern. The clear glass shade lets the bulb show through, so a decorative filament bulb looks especially good here.

Sizing and fit

Measures 8 in L x 8 in W x 19.75 in H with an 8 ft chain and a 5.25 in square canopy. The 19.75 in body height plus chain suits 9-10 ft ceilings; shorten the chain for 8 ft ceilings. The 8 in width fits comfortably over a standard 24-36 in island or bar.

Frequently asked

Is the bulb included? No - the fixture takes one 100W medium-base bulb, sold separately. A vintage-style filament bulb looks best with the clear glass.

Is it dimmable? Yes, when paired with a compatible dimmable bulb and wall dimmer.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is ETL Listed for dry and damp locations, so it works in covered porches and bathrooms with good ventilation, but not in fully exposed outdoor areas or wet locations.

What's the warranty? Quoizel's standard limited warranty applies; contact the manufacturer for details.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling? The 5.25 in canopy is designed for flat ceilings; a sloped-ceiling adapter may be needed for angled ceilings.
