Description
An oversized 4-light pendant with a natural rattan shade and matte black steel frame, made for dining rooms and large entryways.
Sycamore brings coastal texture indoors with a woven rattan shade that filters light into a soft, relaxed glow. The matte black steel frame provides a crisp contrast, so the piece reads modern rather than purely rustic. At 28 inches wide, it is designed to be the centerpiece of a generous space.
Best for
- Dining rooms with 9-10 ft ceilings, centered over a 6-8 seat table
- Large entryways and foyers that need a warm, textured statement piece
- Living rooms and reading nooks where filtered, ambient light is preferred
- Coastal, boho, or modern-farmhouse interiors that lean on natural materials
Not ideal for
- Ceilings under 8 ft - the 28.75-inch body needs vertical clearance
- Small rooms or narrow hallways where a 28-inch shade would feel oversized
- Anyone wanting crisp, direct task lighting - the rattan shade diffuses and softens output
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With four 100W medium-base bulbs, it delivers ample ambient light for a large room, though the woven shade softens and filters the output rather than throwing a sharp beam.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; bulbs are not included. The natural rattan shade casts a warm, honeyed tone, so 2700K-3000K bulbs keep the look cohesive. Dimmable with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
