Description
An 8-inch one-light mini pendant in matte black with a clear cylindrical glass shade, sized for kitchen islands, bars, and breakfast nooks.
The Prescott mini pendant offers eye-catching transitional styling with an open lantern silhouette and a clear cylindrical glass shade. The matte black finish keeps it understated, while the open frame lets the bulb show through for a clean, modern look. Hang one as a single accent or line several in a row over a counter.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas, hung in pairs or threes for even task light
- Breakfast bars and counter seating where a small pendant fits between stools
- Entryways and hallways that need a compact overhead accent
- Bedrooms or reading nooks, hung low beside a chair
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 8-foot cord length
- Spaces that need a large statement fixture - at 8 inches wide this is a mini pendant
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With one 100W medium-base bulb, it delivers focused task light - bright enough over a sink or prep area, but not a whole-room light on its own.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose; the manufacturer does not specify a Kelvin rating. The clear glass shade lets the bulb's full brightness through, and the fixture is not listed as dimmable - check your bulb and dimmer compatibility before assuming dimming.
Sizing and fit
Measures 8 inches in diameter and 24 inches high, with a 4-inch chain, an 8-foot cord, and a 5-inch canopy. It suits 8- to 9-foot ceilings; shorten the chain to hang it 30 to 36 inches above a counter.
