Description
A 11-inch globe pendant with an alabaster glass shade and matte black steel frame, perfect for kitchen islands and bar areas.
The Orbit pendant pairs a simple, modern silhouette with a glowing alabaster glass globe. The sleek matte black steel frame highlights the glass without competing with it. Hang Orbit alone as a focal point or in a grouping of two or three over a kitchen island or bar for even, inviting light.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and bar areas - hang in a row of two or three for balanced light
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks where a single globe pendant defines the table
- Bedrooms and living rooms as a soft accent light
- Entryways and hallways with standard ceiling heights
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the 8 ft cord allows height adjustment but the 16 in height needs clearance
- Spaces that need bright task lighting - this is an accent pendant, not a primary light source
- Outdoor or damp locations - ETL Listed for dry locations only
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With one 100W medium base bulb, it provides ample ambient light for a small area - enough to illuminate a breakfast nook or a section of a kitchen island, but not a whole room.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. The alabaster glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, even glow. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmable bulb and dimmer switch.
