Description
A 21-inch three-light pendant in an old black finish with a metal shade and wooden trim, made for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Lariat pendant leans into patina. Its old black finish looks timeworn yet fresh, while wooden trim adds an organic, subtly Zen element. The metal shade directs light downward over a counter or table, making it a warm, welcoming choice for rustic and craftsman-inspired interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung singly or in a row of two to three
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings and a standard table
- Rustic, craftsman, and organic-modern interiors
- Open-concept kitchens where a warm, directional light is wanted
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you want light thrown upward as well as down - the metal shade directs it downward
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 8 ft cord extended
- Very large rooms where a single 21-inch pendant would look undersized
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on your bulbs. This fixture takes three medium-base bulbs up to 100W each; lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With three 100W-equivalent LEDs you get roughly 4500 lumens, enough to light a kitchen island or dining table on its own.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb suits the old black finish and wooden trim and flatters wood and stone surfaces. The metal shade keeps glare out of your eyes while pushing light down onto the surface below.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 21 in L x 21 in W x 22 in H with a 5 in W x 5 in L canopy, 4 in chain, and 8 ft cord. The 22-inch body height suits 8-9 ft ceilings; shorten the cord or chain for lower ceilings. At 13 lbs, it is light enough for standard ceiling junction boxes.
