Description
A 12-inch single-light pendant with a double-layered glass shade and brushed gold frame, ideal for kitchen islands, bars, and small dining tables.
Jansen brings simple sophistication to modern and transitional spaces. The opal etched ribbed inner shade sits inside a clear glass outer shade, creating a soft, layered illumination effect. The brushed gold steel frame adds a warm metallic accent that pairs well with both neutral and bold palettes.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars - hang one or a row of two or three for task and ambient light
- Small dining tables or eat-in kitchens where a single statement pendant is enough
- Entryways or foyers with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Modern and transitional interiors with gold or brass accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Very large rooms where a single 12-inch pendant would look undersized
- Spaces requiring a fully enclosed fixture for high-moisture environments
How bright is it?
Uses one 100W medium-base bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose - a standard 100W-equivalent LED typically produces around 1600 lumens, enough for focused task lighting over a counter or small table, but not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulb you install. The opal etched inner shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, even glow. Pair with a 2700K-3000K bulb for a cozy, inviting feel. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb.
