Description
A 12-inch single pendant in brushed nickel with a heavy clear water glass shade, made for kitchen islands, bars, and breakfast counters.
Hollis sits between traditional and modern, which is why it works in so many kitchens. The brushed nickel steel frame stays understated, while the thick water glass shade adds texture and diffuses the bulb instead of letting it glare. Hang one over a small table or repeat it across an island for a consistent line of light.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas, hung 30-36 in above the countertop
- Bar areas and butler's pantries
- Breakfast nooks and small dining tables where one pendant is enough
- Transitional kitchens with stainless appliances or nickel hardware
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you need broad ambient light - a single 12 in pendant lights a small area only
- Very low ceilings, since the body is 18 in tall before you add hanging height
- Spaces styled around matte black or warm brass, where the nickel reads as a cooler accent
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It takes one medium-base bulb up to 100W, which is enough to light a countertop work zone or a small table. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
Color temperature comes from your bulb, not the fixture. The water glass diffuses the bulb, so the light reads softer than a clear glass pendant and the bulb itself stays less visible. Dimmability depends on using a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12 in wide x 12 in deep x 18 in tall, with a 5 in square canopy and 8 ft of cord. One pendant suits a small island or table; for a longer island, plan on two or three spaced evenly. Weighs 6.91 lbs.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No. It takes one medium-base bulb up to 100W, sold separately.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? It can be dimmed with a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer. The manufacturer does not specify a dimmer model.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? No. It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it indoors in a dry room.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified in the product data.
How is the water glass different from clear glass? Water glass has a heavier, rippled texture that softens and spreads the light, so you get less glare and a more diffused look than a smooth clear shade.
