Description
A 20-inch aged brass pendant with a shallow metal drum shade, made for foyers, studies, and dining rooms that want a luxe focal point.
Hanley pairs a wide, low-profile metal drum with a warm aged brass finish. The result is high-drama but clean - the shade hides the bulbs from most angles while still throwing light up and down. Four bulbs give it real presence over a table or in a two-story entry.
Best for
- Foyers and entryways where a single pendant sets the tone for the house
- Studies and home offices with a desk or reading chair below
- Dining rooms with a table roughly 40-48 in wide
- Bedrooms with taller ceilings that can carry a 20 in drum
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the 17.25 in body plus cord needs headroom
- Small powder rooms or tight hallways where a 20 in drum would crowd the space
- Anyone wanting a fully enclosed, glare-free shade; the drum is open at the bottom
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. Four 100W medium-base bulbs give this pendant plenty of output for a dining table or foyer - it can act as the primary light in a mid-size room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; none are included. Warm 2700K-3000K bulbs suit the aged brass finish and flatter wood and brass interiors. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and wall dimmer used.
