Description
A single-lamp pendant with a spun aluminum shade in contrasting black-on-black finish, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Helena pendant from Kuzco features a sleek spun aluminum shade with a powder-coated black exterior and matching black interior. Its compact 8-inch diameter makes it a versatile choice for task or ambient lighting over islands, counters, or tables. Available in two sizes, this pendant adds a modern touch to any space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for even task lighting
- Dining tables 36-48 in wide, centered 30-34 in above the tabletop
- Breakfast nooks and small eat-in kitchens as a single statement pendant
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing focused accent light
- Home office desks or reading nooks where directed task light is needed
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft - the pendant hangs 9.25 in from the canopy
- Large rooms needing broad ambient light - this is a focused task/accent light
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60W bulb, expect about 800 lumens - similar to a traditional 60W bulb, suitable for task and accent lighting but not as a primary room light. LED equivalent bulbs can provide comparable brightness at lower wattage.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The black interior shade reduces glare and directs light downward, creating a cozy, focused beam.

The pendant measures 7.88 inches in diameter and 9.25 inches in height. The round canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter and 0.38 inches tall. Sloped ceiling adaptable. Hanging length is fixed at the overall height; no additional chain or rod is included.
