Description
A 14-inch single-light pendant with a black exterior and gold interior detail, featuring a conical aluminum shade for modern kitchens and dining areas.
The Dorothy pendant combines a fine powder-coated black finish with a contrasting gold detail inside the shade and on the finial. The conical aluminum shade is suspended by a cloth cable, adding a touch of texture. Available in two sizes, this pendant makes a statement without overwhelming the space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung singly or in pairs over a 6-8 ft island
- Dining rooms with a 48-60 in table, centered for ambient light
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings, creating a dramatic focal point
- Open-concept living areas where a single pendant defines a zone
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces needing bright task lighting - the single 60W bulb provides accent-level illumination
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulb used (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent LED bulb, expect around 800 lumens - suitable for ambient or accent lighting over a table or island, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is your choice. A 2700K-3000K bulb gives a warm, inviting glow that complements the black and gold detail. The fixture is dimmable when used with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 12 inches high and 14 inches in diameter. The round canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter and 0.88 inches high. Sloped ceiling adaptable for angled ceilings.
