Description
A 1-light outdoor pendant from Kichler's Kirkwood collection, finished in Black with Clear Seeded glass panels, designed for covered patios and entryways.
The Kirkwood collection brings classic elegance to outdoor spaces with a timeless design and durable cast aluminum construction. The Black finish is built to last, while the seeded glass panels allow light to radiate from all angles, creating a warm and inviting glow. This pendant is ETL listed for damp locations, making it a reliable choice for covered outdoor areas.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, hung from a ceiling or beam
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 72-inch chain
- Outdoor dining areas where a warm ambient light is desired
- Transitional-style homes seeking a classic lantern look
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without overhead cover (wet locations) - this fixture is rated for damp locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft, as the minimum hanging height is approximately 18 inches
How bright is it?
This pendant accommodates one 150-watt A21 bulb (not included), producing up to about 1500-1800 lumens depending on the bulb - bright enough to serve as primary lighting for a small to medium covered patio or entryway. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage or dimmable LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The Clear Seeded glass diffuses light gently, reducing glare while maintaining a clear, warm ambiance. The actual light color depends on the bulb installed - warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs are recommended for a cozy, inviting feel.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8.5 inches wide and 18 inches high, with a 72-inch chain and 28-inch wire for flexible hanging. The overall height can be adjusted from 18 inches to 92 inches. The backplate is 5 inches in diameter. Best suited for ceilings 8 ft or higher.
