Description
A 1-light pendant with a globe-shaped plated smoke glass shade and satin nickel finish, perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
Part of the Newton Sphere Collection, this modern industrial pendant features a beautiful globe-shaped shade that is easily removed for cleaning with four oversized thumb screws. The textured cord matches the finish and allows for slope ceiling compatibility.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over the table for a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways and hallways, adding an industrial accent
- Damp locations such as covered patios or bathrooms
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord length
- Spaces requiring a very bright, focused task light - this is more ambient
How bright is it?
With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a 100W bulb. It's suitable for ambient lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but not as a primary light for large rooms.
Light color and feel
The bulb is not specified with a color temperature, but incandescent bulbs typically emit a warm, yellowish light around 2700K. This creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere that flatters skin tones and complements warm finishes.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 14 inches in diameter and 15.38 inches high, with a height range of 16.13 to 136.13 inches. It's designed for standard 8-foot ceilings and can be adjusted to fit higher ceilings.
