Description
A 3-inch mini pendant from the Boreas collection, finished in antique copper with a clear glass cylinder shade - ideal for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Boreas brings the sleek silhouette of the Ballston but adds a touch of flair with interchangeable glass or metal shades from the Franklin collection, letting you create a custom fixture. Its antique copper finish and clear glass cylinder give it a contemporary Art Deco feel that works in a range of interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing focused light over a table
- Entryways and hallways, adding a decorative accent
- Coffee bars and sideboards, illuminating a serving area
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 43.75-inch hanging length
- Rooms requiring bright, widespread illumination - this is an accent light
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (not included) - roughly 1600 lumens if using a standard 100W bulb, bright enough for task lighting over a counter or table.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair it with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear glass shade showcases the bulb, so consider a vintage-style filament bulb for a decorative look.
