Description
A 12-inch mini pendant with an antique brass metal cone shade, part of the Appalachian Collection, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
This pendant features a heavy cast brass construction with an antique brass finish, giving it a traditional industrial look. The cone-shaped metal shade directs light downward, making it ideal for task lighting over counters or tables. The fixture includes adjustable stems and a swivel for sloped ceilings, offering flexible installation.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for focused task lighting
- Dining room tables, providing a warm, intimate glow
- Breakfast bars and peninsulas, paired in multiples for even illumination
- Entryways and foyers, as a statement piece with a vintage feel
- Hallways and corridors, adding character and directional light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Covered outdoor areas with direct water spray - damp rating does not cover wet conditions
- Spaces with very low ceilings (under 8 ft) if you need the full 41-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. It's suitable for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but may be too dim for large open areas.
Light color and feel
The metal shade directs light downward, creating a focused pool of light. The color temperature depends on the bulb; a warm 2700K-3000K LED bulb enhances the antique brass finish and creates a cozy atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable for adjustable brightness.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 8 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 17 to 41 inches using the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch sections). The canopy is 4.5 inches round. This pendant is suitable for ceilings 8-10 ft, with a minimum height of 17 inches.
