Description
A 36-inch three-light linear island pendant in aged brass with exotic purple cone shades, built for kitchen islands and long dining tables.
The Orwell island light brings a factory-inspired, utilitarian look to the kitchen. Three cone-shaped steel shades hang in a row from a slim aged brass frame, each one finished in a deep, saturated exotic purple with a flat matte sheen. The open-top shade design lets light escape upward for ambient fill while the main beam drops down onto the counter. The aged brass finish has a warm, antiqued gold tone with a low-luster satin sheen and a fine brushed texture that adds depth.

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With three 100W-equivalent LED bulbs you get roughly 4,800 lumens total - plenty to light a kitchen island as the primary task light. With lower-output bulbs it works as a decorative accent over a dining table.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by the bulbs, not the fixture. A 3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, golden tone that pairs well with the aged brass finish and warm wood counters. The purple shades add a bold color accent when the fixture is on or off. The fixture is fully dimmable with a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 35.75 inches wide x 10 inches deep x 14.5 inches high. Each shade is 10 inches wide and 14.25 inches tall. The fixture hangs from one 6-inch rod and three 12-inch rods, with a minimum height of 17.13 inches and a maximum of 59.13 inches. The round canopy is 4.88 inches wide and sloped-ceiling compatible. For a kitchen island, hang the bottom of the shades 30-36 inches above the countertop.

Is the bulb included? No. It requires three E26 medium-base A19 bulbs, sold separately. Maximum 100W each.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, it is dimmable. Use a standard wall dimmer rated for the bulb type you install - LED-compatible dimmers work best with LED bulbs.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? No. It is dry location rated and indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms, covered porches, or any space with moisture.
What's the warranty? 1 year limited manufacturer warranty.
Will it work on a sloped ceiling? Yes, the canopy is sloped-ceiling compatible and the included rods can be combined to set your hanging height.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
