Maxim Lighting Unity 55in 1-Light Linear Pendant | Modern Black Chrome and Polycarbonate | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | Model E24616-BC

A 55-inch linear LED pendant in black chrome, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms that need a sculptural focal point.

The Unity collection turns abstract stainless steel shapes into a piece of illuminated art. The black chrome finish gives it a sleek, mirror-like quality that reflects the room around it, while the integrated LED provides a clean, even glow. It's a statement piece for modern and contemporary spaces.

Best for

• Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung as the primary task light over the counter
• Dining rooms with a modern or minimalist aesthetic, centered over the table
• Open-concept living areas where a linear fixture defines the kitchen zone
• Commercial spaces like conference rooms or reception desks needing a modern look

Not ideal for

• Low ceilings under 9 feet, as the fixture hangs 12 inches tall plus suspension
• Traditional or rustic interiors where the black chrome finish may feel too contemporary
• Small rooms where a 55-inch span would overwhelm the space

How bright is it?

4800 lumens - roughly equivalent to four 75W incandescent bulbs. This is plenty of light for a kitchen island or dining table, providing ample task and ambient illumination.

Light color and feel

3000K warm white creates a soft, inviting glow that flatters wood tones and skin tones. With a CRI of 90, colors appear accurate and vibrant, making it a good choice for areas where food or decor is displayed. It is dimmable with compatible dimmers (see FAQ).
