Description
A 40-inch LED ring pendant in brushed aluminum, ideal for large kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Groove pendant is a minimalist aluminum ring with an integrated recessed LED downlight. The brushed aluminum finish gives it a clean, contemporary look that suits modern and transitional interiors. With CCT Selectable technology, you can choose from five color temperatures (2700K–5000K) to set the right mood.
Best for
- Large kitchen islands 8–10 ft long, hung as a statement piece over the counter
- Dining rooms with modern or minimalist decor
- Open-concept living areas needing a sleek, low-profile ceiling fixture
- Home offices or studies where adjustable white light is useful
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas – rated for dry locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need significant hanging length (includes 120 in of wire, but canopy is 2 in high)
- Spaces requiring a very bright primary light – 1600 lumens is best for ambient or task lighting
How bright is it?
1600 lumens – roughly equivalent to a 110W incandescent bulb. It provides ample ambient light for a kitchen island or dining table, but may not be sufficient as the sole light source in a large room.
Light color and feel
Selectable color temperature from 2700K (warm, golden) to 5000K (cool, daylight). 3000K offers a soft white similar to traditional incandescent, while 4000K–5000K provides a crisper, more alert feel for task areas. CRI of 90 means colors render accurately, good for kitchens and dining. Dimmable with Triac CL dimmers (compatible dimmer required).
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 40 in L x 40 in W x 1.25 in H. Canopy: 8.25 in L x 8.25 in W x 2 in H. Includes 120 in of electrical wire for adjustable hanging height. Works well in rooms with 8–10 ft ceilings; for higher ceilings, additional chain or rod may be needed (not included).
