Description
An 18-inch chrome LED pendant with ribbed smoke ombre glass, a taller version of the Ariel silhouette for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Ariel pendant pairs a black-plated frame and chrome accents with a ribbed smoke ombre glass shade that fades from dark to light. Inside, an integrated LED tube glows through the glass, creating a soft gradient rather than a harsh point of light. At 18 inches tall, this version drops lower than the 13-inch Ariel, making it a good fit for taller ceilings or as a single statement over a small table.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas - hang one over a prep sink or pair two or three in a row
- Dining nooks and breakfast bars where a slim, modern silhouette fits tight overhead space
- Contemporary living rooms and entryways used as an accent pendant
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings - rated for sloped ceiling installation
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms, covered patios, or any outdoor space - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms that need a lot of light from a single source - at 1,950 lumens this is an accent or task pendant, not a primary room light
- Traditional or rustic interiors where the smoke ombre glass and chrome would feel out of place
How bright is it?
1,950 lumens from a 15W integrated LED - roughly the brightness of a 125W incandescent bulb. Good task lighting over a counter or accent light over a table, not a substitute for a full-room fixture.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. CRI is 80, which is fine for kitchens and dining areas. Dimmable with a compatible LED dimmer (sold separately) so you can drop it to a low glow for evening meals.
Sizing and fit
Overall 6.3 in L x 6.3 in W x 17.8 in H. Hanging height adjusts from 24 to 140.3 inches via the wire suspension. Shade measures 4.8 in D x 4.7 in W x 3.7 in H. Canopy is 5.5 in L x 5.5 in D x 1.6 in H. Weighs 3.5 lbs. The narrow 6-inch profile suits islands and tight dining areas.
