This Kichler MR8 recessed trim features a Centennial Brass finish and clear tempered soda lime glass, providing a classic look for outdoor or wet location installations. The compact size makes it ideal for highlighting pathways, walls, or garden features.
Best for
- Wet location landscape accent lighting, such as pathways, walls, or garden beds
- Low-voltage 12V systems for safe outdoor use
- Highlighting architectural features or plants with a focused beam
Not ideal for
- Indoor dry locations where a larger trim is preferred
- High-ceiling areas where a wider beam spread is needed
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used (bulb not included). This fixture accepts a 12V MR8 incandescent bulb up to 50W. For reference, a 50W incandescent produces about 400 lumens, similar to a small accent light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb chosen. Incandescent bulbs typically produce a warm 2700K-3000K glow. This fixture is not dimmable unless used with a compatible dimmer and bulb.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 1.25 in diameter x 3.5 in height. The cowl adds a slight projection. Suitable for tight spaces where a low-profile recessed light is needed.
