Description
A 10.5-inch tall outdoor wall sconce in antique bronze with beveled glass, sized for entryways, porches, and garage-side lighting.
The Charleston is a compact lantern-style sconce that suits traditional and transitional exteriors. The antique bronze finish has a warmer, aged look than black and pairs well with brick, stone, and wood siding. The beveled glass panels add a bit of detail without shouting. At 10.5 inches tall it's the smallest in the Charleston family, ideal for tighter wall spaces and side doors.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, mounted in pairs flanking the door
- Garage side entries and mudroom doors that need a welcoming accent
- Covered patios and breezeways with standard 8 ft ceilings
- Smaller facades and tight wall spaces where a full-size lantern would crowd
Not ideal for
- Large-scale facades that need a taller, more substantial fixture
- Spaces that need bright task lighting - this is a single-bulb accent sconce
- Installations outside the United States - designed for 110V wiring
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. It takes one 60W medium-base incandescent bulb, so brightness depends on the bulb you choose. A 60W-equivalent LED gives a soft accent glow; a lower-wattage bulb keeps it subtle.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb installed. A warm white bulb (2700-3000K) gives a soft, welcoming tone for entries; a cooler bulb reads more utilitarian. The beveled glass softens the light and adds a slight sparkle.
Sizing and fit
Overall 10.5 in high x 5.5 in wide with a 6.75 in extension from the wall. The backplate measures 4 1/2 in H x 4 1/2 in W x 2 1/4 in extension. At this height it suits single-story entries and covered porches with at least 8 ft ceilings.
