Livex Lighting Somerset 45in 1-Light Pendant | Transitional Brushed Nickel and Satin Glass | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | Model 4211-91

A 45-inch linear pendant in brushed nickel with a satin glass shade, sized for kitchen islands and dining tables.

The Somerset pendant stretches a single 100W bulb across a long, slim profile, so it lights a whole island run without a row of separate fixtures. The brushed nickel finish has a soft, low-sheen metallic look that reads transitional rather than industrial, and the satin glass shade diffuses the bulb into an even glow instead of a hot spot.

Best for

• Kitchen islands 5-7 ft long, hung as the single light source over the counter
• Dining tables and breakfast nooks that need a wide, even pool of light
• Open-concept kitchens where one linear fixture reads cleaner than three pendants
• Transitional and soft-contemporary interiors with nickel or brushed metal hardware

Not ideal for

• Rooms where you want a bright, daylight-white task light - this is a single-bulb fixture and output depends on the bulb you choose
• Very low ceilings, since the 8-inch body plus canopy leaves little drop
• Spaces that need multiple light levels from one fixture

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because it depends on the bulb installed. With a 100W-equivalent LED you get roughly 1,100-1,600 lumens - enough to light a kitchen island surface, though most kitchens pair it with under-cabinet or recessed lighting.

Light color and feel

Color temperature is set by the bulb, not the fixture. A 2700K-3000K bulb gives the warm, golden feel most dining and kitchen spaces want; the satin glass softens glare either way. Dimmability depends on the bulb and dimmer switch you use.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 45 in long x 11 in wide x 8 in tall, with a 5-inch diameter canopy. The long, narrow footprint suits islands and tables roughly 5-7 ft wide. Item weight is 6 lbs.
