Description
A 26-inch five-light chandelier with angular bronze arms and oatmeal fabric hardback shades, made for dining rooms and foyers with contemporary taste.
Rubix keeps its lines crisp: straight steel arms meet at sharp angles under a bronze finish, then soften into hand-crafted oatmeal fabric shades. The shades are finished in fabric inside and out, so the fixture looks intentional from every angle, and the warm oatmeal tone flatters wood tables and neutral walls.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables roughly 48 to 60 in wide and ceilings of 8 ft or higher
- Foyers and entryways that need a defined centerpiece without a massive footprint
- Contemporary and transitional interiors with warm wood, leather, or bronze accents
- Sloped ceilings - this model is built to accommodate them
Not ideal for
- Very large great rooms where a 26 in diameter will read as undersized
- Kitchens that need bright task lighting - this is an ambient fixture
- Anyone expecting bulbs in the box - the five medium-base bulbs are sold separately
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. Five 40W medium-base bulbs give roughly 200W of ambient light - enough to anchor a dining room, not to light a whole open floor plan on their own.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows the bulbs you install; the oatmeal fabric shades warm and diffuse the output. Warm-white bulbs (2700-3000K) suit the bronze finish best. Dimming is handled by the bulbs and wall dimmer.
