Description
A 22-inch five-light pendant chandelier in bronze with a laser-cut bird-nest metal sheath over an oatmeal fabric hardback shade and clear crystal strands, made for dining rooms and foyers.
The Allendale takes its cue from a bird nest: a bronze steel cage wraps an oatmeal fabric shade, with strands of clear crystal glistening between the layers. A white acrylic diffuser at the bottom softens the light, and the included 6-, 12-, and 18-inch stems let you set the drop to suit your ceiling.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table roughly 60-72 in long, hung 30-36 in above the tabletop
- Two-story foyers and entryways where the 25.25-61.25 in adjustable drop can be put to use
- Contemporary and transitional living rooms that want a sculptural centerpiece
- Sloped ceilings - the fixture accommodates them
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 61.25 in drop
- Very small powder rooms - at 22 in across, it needs breathing room
- Spaces where you want a bare-bulb, minimal look - the fabric shade and crystals are the point here
How bright is it?
Takes five 60W medium-base bulbs (not included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulbs you choose; with 60W-equivalent LEDs it reads as a strong ambient centerpiece rather than task lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows your bulbs. The oatmeal fabric shade and white acrylic diffuser warm the output, so 2700-3000K bulbs keep the glow soft and golden. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer you install; the fixture itself does not include a dimmer.
Sizing and fit
