Description
A 16-inch wide, ADA-compliant wall sconce with a hand-crafted oatmeal fabric shade and an English bronze cutout pattern, made for bedrooms, hallways, and other dry or damp indoor spaces.
The Arabesque two-light sconce pairs a warm oatmeal fabric hardback shade with an English bronze steel frame detailed with an intricate cutout pattern. The shade is finished in fabric inside and out, so the light reads soft and even rather than bare-bulb bright. It is a transitional piece that suits traditional, Mediterranean, and softly modern interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading or accent sconce
- Hallways and entryways where a slim, ADA-compliant profile is needed
- Dining rooms and living rooms as a pair flanking a sideboard or fireplace
- Bathrooms and other damp indoor areas, since the fixture is rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or covered patio use - this fixture is not rated for wet locations
- Large rooms that need a primary light source - two 40W bulbs provide accent-level light only
- Spaces where a very bright, direct downlight is required
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. The fixture takes two 40W medium-base bulbs, which gives accent or ambient light rather than room-filling brightness - best used alongside ceiling or floor lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture itself does not set a Kelvin temperature. The oatmeal fabric shade and white fabric interior diffuse the light into a warm, even glow that flatters wood tones and bronze finishes.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 16 in wide x 7 in high with a 3.875 in extension from the wall. The backplate measures 9.5 in wide x 6.375 in high, and the height from the top of the fixture to the mounting point is 3.625 in. The slim 3.875 in projection makes it a good fit for hallways and other tight spaces.
