Description
A 4-light polished chrome pendant chandelier with a laser-cut bird-nest metal sheath around an off-white fabric hardback shade and clear crystal strands, sized for dining rooms and foyers.
The Allendale takes its cue from a bird nest: a laser-cut steel sheath wraps an off-white fabric hardback shade, with strands of clear crystal glinting between the layers. A white acrylic diffuser closes the bottom for a clean glow, and the polished chrome finish keeps the whole piece bright and contemporary.
Best for
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, hung over a table 36-48 in wide
- Two-story foyers and stairwells where the adjustable 21.75-57.75 in height lets it drop low
- Contemporary or transitional living rooms that want a sculptural centerpiece
- Sloped ceilings - the fixture accommodates them
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 57.75 in drop
- Very small powder rooms - at 18 in diameter this is a statement piece, not a subtle accent
- Spaces where you want a bare-bulb or open-frame look; the fabric shade and diffuser soften the light
How bright is it?
Takes four 60W medium-base bulbs (not included), so maximum output depends on the bulbs you choose - roughly 3200 lumens with standard 800-lumen LED bulbs. That is enough to light a dining table as the primary fixture in the room.
Light color and feel
Light color follows your bulbs. The off-white fabric hardback shade and bottom acrylic diffuser soften and diffuse output, so the fixture reads as warm ambient light rather than a harsh point source. Pair with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer to take it from dinner-party bright to evening-low.
