How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulbs used (not included). This fixture accepts four medium-base bulbs up to 100W each (incandescent equivalent). For a typical bathroom, we recommend 60W equivalent LED bulbs for ample task lighting.

Can the shades be replaced? The clear lava glass shades are fixed; the fixture is designed as a complete unit.
