Description
An 18.5-inch tapered metal drum pendant in matte white with gold accents, made for reading nooks, stairwells, and bright dining corners.
Aberdale takes a classic drum shape and tapers it, then finishes the steel in matte white with warm gold accents at the details. The look is understated drama - light enough to blend into airy rooms, with just enough contrast to feel designed. Four candelabra bulbs sit inside the shade.
Best for
- Reading nooks and cozy corners where a single pendant anchors the space
- Stairwells and two-story landings that need a hanging focal point
- Dining rooms and breakfast bars with a bright, modern palette
- Bedrooms with 9 ft ceilings or higher
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the 25.5 in body plus chain and cord needs clearance
- Small powder rooms or narrow hallways where an 18.5 in drum would feel heavy
- Anyone wanting maximum brightness; candelabra bulbs put out less light than standard medium-base bulbs
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. Four 15W candelabra bulbs give a softer, more atmospheric light than a standard 100W pendant - best as accent or dining light rather than a whole-room source.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; none are included. Warm 2700K bulbs suit the matte white and gold palette. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and wall dimmer used.
Sizing and fit
18.5 in wide x 18.5 in deep x 25.5 in tall, with a 4 in chain, 8 ft cord, and 5 in canopy. Best in rooms with 9 ft ceilings or higher.
