Maxim Lighting Essentials 801x 18in 2-Light Vanity Light | Traditional Satin Nickel and Frosted Glass | Bathroom Vanity & Powder | Model 8012FTSN

An 18-inch, 2-light vanity light in satin nickel with frosted glass shades, made for bathroom vanities and powder rooms that need simple, even light.

From Maxim's Essentials - 801x collection, this vanity light keeps the design straightforward: an aluminum frame in satin nickel, paired with frosted glass shades that soften the bulbs and spread light evenly across the vanity. The early-American styling leans traditional, but the clean lines let it fit transitional and contemporary bathrooms as well.

Best for

• Bathrooms with a 24-30 inch single vanity, mounted above the mirror
• Powder rooms and guest baths that need a neutral, traditional fixture
• Vanities where frosted glass is preferred to reduce glare and hide the bulb
• Builder and remodel projects that need a reliable, damp-rated vanity light

Not ideal for

• Outdoor or uncovered patio use - this fixture is damp-location rated, not wet-rated
• Large double vanities - at 18 inches wide, it may be too small to light a 60-inch vanity evenly
• Rooms where you want a bold decorative statement rather than a simple, functional light

How bright is it?

With two 100W medium-base bulbs, the fixture is rated for up to 2,300 lumens - roughly comparable to a bright 150W-equivalent LED output, enough for a primary vanity light over a single sink. Bulbs are not included.

Light color and feel

The 2700K color temperature listed for this fixture is a warm white, similar to traditional incandescent - soft and flattering for bathroom mirrors and skin tones. The frosted glass diffuses the light for a softer, more even wash. The fixture is dimmable with a standard dimmer when used with compatible dimmable bulbs.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 18 inches wide by 7 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. At 18 inches wide, it suits vanities in the 24-30 inch range; for wider vanities, consider the 3-light version from the same collection.
