Description
A two-light flush mount in satin nickel with frosted glass, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and other rooms that need soft, even ceiling light.
From Maxim's Essentials collection, this flush mount pairs a satin nickel finish with a frosted glass shade that diffuses light and reduces glare. The early American style and simple round shape suit traditional and transitional homes, and the flush profile keeps it out of the way on standard ceilings.
Best for
- Bedrooms that need a central ceiling light without a hanging fixture
- Hallways and entryways where a low-profile light is practical
- Traditional and transitional interiors with satin nickel or brushed nickel hardware
- Closets and utility rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with shower exposure or outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large living rooms that need a brighter central fixture - at 14 in wide it suits smaller rooms
- Modern minimalist spaces where the early American style would feel out of place
How bright is it?
Rated at 1344 lumens with the specified bulbs - roughly comparable to a 90-100W incandescent, enough for a bedroom or hallway. It uses two 60W medium-base incandescent bulbs (not included).
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent light, flattering for bedrooms and living spaces. The frosted glass softens the light and reduces glare. It is dimmable with a standard dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 14 in wide x 5 in high. The 14 in width suits bedrooms roughly 10x12 ft and hallways 3-4 ft wide. It mounts flush to the ceiling and works on standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
