Description
A 12.25-inch, two-light semi-flush mount in black with brushed nickel accents and a mouth-blown clear glass shade - a low-profile ceiling light for bedrooms and hallways.
The Whitworth mixes a black steel frame with brushed nickel accents for a crisp, industrial look, then tops it with hand-blown clear glass so the bulbs stay part of the design. Because it hugs the ceiling, it fits rooms where a hanging pendant would get in the way. Mid-century, sputnik, and vintage interiors all work with it.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Hallways, entryways, and closets needing a shallow ceiling light
- Industrial, mid-century, and vintage interiors with black or metal accents
- Damp indoor spaces like a bathroom away from direct shower spray, since it carries a damp rating
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or covered patio use - it is not rated for wet locations
- Large rooms needing a primary light source - two 40W bulbs give accent-level output
- Spaces where you want a fully diffused glow - the clear glass shows the bulbs
How bright is it?
Two 40W medium-base bulbs give accent-to-ambient light for a small room or hallway, not a large living area. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because bulbs are not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows your bulbs. Warm white (2700-3000K) softens the black and nickel contrast; the clear glass suits vintage-style G25 globes. Dimming depends on the bulbs and dimmer you install.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8 in high x 12.25 in diameter, with a 12.25 in diameter x 4.25 in high glass shade and a 7 in diameter x 1 in high canopy. The 8 in height keeps it clear of standard 8 ft ceilings.

Frequently asked
Are bulbs included? No - it takes two 40W medium-base bulbs; A19 or G25 shapes both fit.
Is it dimmable? Dimming depends on the bulbs and dimmer you use; no dimmer rating is specified.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for dry and damp locations, so a bathroom is fine but outdoor or wet areas are not.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified in the supplied product data.
How does the black finish compare to the antique brass version? This one pairs black with brushed nickel accents for a cooler, industrial look; the antique brass version reads warmer and more vintage.
