Livex Meridian 35in 2-Light Linear Chandelier | Modern Brushed Nickel and Off-White Fabric | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | Model 45492-91

A 35-inch two-light linear chandelier with hand-crafted off-white fabric shades and a brushed nickel steel frame, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.

The Meridian collection has a clean, crisp look with contemporary appeal. This linear chandelier pairs a sleek brushed nickel steel upper frame with two hardback fabric shades finished in off-white inside and out, so the light reads soft and even rather than harsh. It is a natural fit over a long island or a dining table where you want ambient light without visual clutter.

Best for

• Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung as the main ambient light over the counter
• Dining rooms with tables seating 6-8, centered above the tabletop
• Open-concept living and dining areas where a low-profile linear shape works better than a round chandelier
• Hospitality and rental settings that need a versatile, neutral fixture

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms with direct shower exposure or outdoor covered areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations but not wet locations
• Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 48-inch hanging height
• Spaces that need a single bright downlight - this is an ambient fixture with open-bottom shades

How bright is it?

Accepts two 60W medium-base bulbs (not included), so maximum brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard A19 or G25 bulbs it provides comfortable ambient light for a kitchen island or dining table, not task-level brightness for a whole room.

Light color and feel

Light color is determined by the bulbs you install. The off-white fabric shades diffuse the output into a warm, even glow and reduce glare compared with bare bulbs. The fixture is not dimmable as supplied; dimming depends on using compatible dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 35 in long x 14 in wide x 18-48 in adjustable height. The two shades are each 14 in diameter x 7 in high, and the canopy is 8 in diameter x 0.75 in high. The adjustable height range suits ceilings from about 8 ft to 10 ft. Includes 8 ft of electrical wire and (2) 6 in, (2) 12 in, and (2) 18 in stem sections.
