Description
A 15-inch two-light semi-flush mount in brushed nickel with a hand-crafted off-white fabric drum shade, a good fit for mid-size bedrooms and foyers.
The Meridian gives you the softness of a fabric drum shade without dropping a pendant into the room. The shade is built in two layers - off-white hardback fabric outside, white fabric inside - and capped with a satin white acrylic diffuser, so the light reads even across the ceiling. Brushed nickel hardware keeps it easy to pair with transitional, casual, and timeless interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Foyers and entryways that need a low-profile ceiling light
- Hallways and landings
- Small dining rooms and breakfast nooks
Not ideal for
- Wet or exposed outdoor locations - rated for dry and damp locations only
- Very large rooms that need a wider light; at 15 in across this is a mid-size fixture
- Spaces where you want an industrial or bare-bulb look
How bright is it?
Takes two 40W medium-base bulbs. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulbs you choose - comfortable ambient light for a bedroom or foyer, not a bright task light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows your bulb choice. The off-white fabric shade and white acrylic diffuser soften the output into a warm, even glow, and the brushed nickel stays visually quiet. Bulbs are not included.
Sizing and fit
15 in diameter and 7.75 in tall overall, with a 4.75 in diameter canopy. The low profile suits 8 ft ceilings and up, and the 5 lb weight is light enough for a standard ceiling box. The outer shade measures 15 in diameter x 3.5 in high, with an 11 in diameter x 2 in high inner shade.

Frequently asked
Are bulbs included? No - it takes two 40W medium-base bulbs, sold separately.
Is it dimmable? Dimmability depends on the bulbs and wall dimmer you install; the fixture itself does not restrict it.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for dry and damp locations, not wet. A bathroom away from direct shower spray is acceptable; exposed outdoor areas are not.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified in the source data - check with Livex for current coverage.
How does the 15 in version differ from the 12 in? Same shade construction and bulb count, but a wider 15 in drum that suits larger rooms and foyers.
