Description
A 16-inch two-light bath vanity light for bathroom vanities and powder rooms, finished in brushed nickel with satin glass shades.
The Somerset vanity light brings a clean contemporary look to the mirror wall. Two satin glass shades soften the light and spread it evenly across a single or double vanity, while the brushed nickel finish coordinates with faucets and cabinet hardware.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 in single vanity, mounted above the mirror
- Powder rooms that need a compact two-light fixture
- Guest baths and hall baths with brushed nickel or chrome faucets
- Contemporary and transitional interiors
Not ideal for
- Large double vanities 48 in and wider - this fixture is only 16 in wide
- Outdoor or covered patio use - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces where you want a single bright downlight rather than two shaded bulbs
How bright is it?
Takes two 100W medium-base bulbs (not included). With standard 100W-equivalent LEDs expect roughly 1,600 lumens per bulb - ample task light for a single vanity, though not a substitute for a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by your bulbs. Satin glass diffuses glare for comfortable face-level lighting; 3000K bulbs give a warm, flattering tone for mirrors, while 3500-4000K suits a crisper bathroom look. Dimmable with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer.
Sizing and fit
16 in wide x 8 in deep x 9 in high, with a 5 in diameter backplate and 4 in from the top of the fixture to the mounting point. At 16 inches wide it suits vanities up to about 36 inches; mount about 6-8 in above the mirror or vanity top.
