Livex Lighting Oasis 12in 1-Light Wall Sconce | Traditional Brushed Nickel and White Alabaster Glass | Bedroom & Hallway Accent Light | Model 4271-91

A 12-inch one-light wall sconce in brushed nickel with a white alabaster glass shade, sized for bedroom, hallway, and bathroom-vanity accent lighting.

The Oasis sconce keeps a low profile - just 6 inches tall and 3.75 inches deep - so it sits close to the wall and throws a soft wash of light up and down. The brushed nickel finish is a soft, satin silver tone that suits transitional and traditional interiors, and the white alabaster glass diffuses the bulb into a gentle glow rather than a hard point of light.

Best for

• Hallways and stairwells where you want a pair of low-profile accent lights flanking artwork or a console
• Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading sconce in place of a table lamp
• Bathrooms over a single vanity, where the wide 10-inch backplate covers a standard junction box
• Entryways and powder rooms that need a clean, satin-silver finishing touch

Not ideal for

• Large rooms that need a primary light source - one 60W bulb is accent-level output only
• Very tall ceilings where a small 6-inch-tall sconce would look undersized
• Warm brass or bronze palettes - the brushed nickel reads cool and silvery

How bright is it?

Takes one medium-base bulb up to 60W. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulb you choose - a standard 60W-equivalent LED gives roughly 800 lumens, enough for accent and ambient light, not a primary room light.

Light color and feel

Light color depends on the bulb installed. The white alabaster glass softens and diffuses the output, so a warm-white bulb reads as a gentle, even glow rather than a sharp beam. Bulb is not included.

Sizing and fit

Overall 6 in high x 3.75 in deep x 12.25 in wide, with a 10 in W x 4.75 in H backplate. The 2.5-inch distance from the top of the fixture to the mounting point keeps it tight to the wall. Works well on standard 8-9 ft walls in hallways, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

Frequently asked

Is the bulb included? No - it takes one medium-base bulb up to 60W, sold separately.

Is it dimmable? Dimmability depends on the bulb and wall switch used; the fixture itself has no dimmer. Use a dimmable bulb with a compatible dimmer switch.

Can I install this in a bathroom? The manufacturer does not list a damp or wet location rating for this sconce, so treat it as a dry-location fixture and avoid direct shower or tub exposure.

What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified in the source data - check with Livex Lighting for coverage details.

How far does it project from the wall? About 3.75 inches deep, so it stays close to the wall in narrow hallways.
