Description
A 14-inch three-light flush mount in brushed nickel with a white alabaster glass shade, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and other rooms with standard-height ceilings.
The Essex keeps a low profile while still giving you real light output. The brushed nickel canopy sits close to the ceiling, and the white alabaster glass diffuses three bulbs into an even, glare-free glow. Brushed nickel is the most neutral of the Essex finishes - it sits easily alongside stainless appliances, gray walls, and mixed-metal rooms.
Best for
- Bedrooms roughly 10x12 ft where a low-profile ceiling light is needed
- Hallways and landings that need even, shadow-free light
- Closets, laundry rooms, and utility spaces
- Entry foyers with ceilings under 9 ft
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with shower or tub exposure - no damp or wet rating is stated for this fixture
- Large open living rooms - three 60W bulbs give accent-level light, not primary room light
- Rooms where you want a statement fixture - this is a discreet, close-to-ceiling design
How bright is it?
Three 60W medium-base bulbs, so up to 180W total. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulbs you choose - with standard LED equivalents expect roughly 2,400-2,700 lumens, enough to light a bedroom or hallway comfortably.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you install. The white alabaster glass softens the output and spreads it evenly, so there is no harsh hotspot on the ceiling. Pair with 2700K-3000K bulbs for a warm, traditional feel.
Sizing and fit
14.5 in wide by 7.5 in high, with a 5.5 in diameter canopy. The shallow height makes it a good fit for 8-9 ft ceilings. Item weight is 5 lbs.
