Description
A 13-inch two-light flush mount ceiling light in brushed nickel with a clover-shaped gray fabric drum shade, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and closets.
The Kalmar keeps a clean, modern profile with a brushed nickel steel frame, then adds a hand-crafted gray hardback shade with a soft clover shape for a little unexpected character. Because it mounts flush to the ceiling, it works in rooms where a hanging fixture would get in the way.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with standard 8 ft ceilings
- Hallways, entryways, and closets that need a low-profile light
- Laundry rooms and utility spaces
- Transitional or contemporary interiors with gray and nickel tones
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms that need a wide spread of light - a 13 in flush mount is best for small to mid-size spaces
- Spaces where you want a bold statement piece; this is a quiet, low-profile design
- Outdoor or wet-exposed areas
How bright is it?
Takes two 60W medium-base bulbs. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulbs; with typical bulbs it provides solid ambient light for a small to mid-size room.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs installed - warm white (around 2700-3000K) suits bedrooms and hallways. The gray fabric shade softens the light and spreads it evenly. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer used; the manufacturer does not specify a dimmer model.
Sizing and fit
13 in diameter, 8.5 in tall overall. Canopy is 5.125 in diameter. Weighs 5 lbs. Best on standard 8 ft ceilings in small to mid-size rooms.
