Livex Downtown 2-Light Sphere Vanity Sconce | Industrial Brushed Nickel and Clear Glass | Bathroom Vanity & Powder Room | Model 16972-91

A two-light sphere vanity sconce in brushed nickel with clear glass shades, sized for a single vanity in a bathroom or powder room.

The Downtown collection pairs an industrial exposed-bulb idea with a clean, soft-edged frame. Two arms rise from a round steel backplate, each holding a clear glass sphere that lets the bulb show through. Brushed nickel gives it a cooler, more contemporary feel than brass and blends easily with chrome or satin nickel faucets and hardware.

Best for

• Bathrooms with a single 30-48 in vanity, mounted above or beside the mirror
• Powder rooms and guest baths with a modern or transitional palette
• Industrial, urban, and contemporary bathrooms with nickel or chrome plumbing
• Vanity walls where you want light thrown both up and down

Not ideal for

• Showers, tub surrounds, or covered outdoor areas - rated for damp and dry locations only, not wet
• Wide double vanities on its own - at 6.5 in wide this is a single-vanity scale piece
• Rooms where you need a large volume of light from one fixture

How bright is it?

Takes two 60W medium-base bulbs, so brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard 60W-equivalent LEDs expect roughly 800 lumens per bulb - enough for task lighting over a single vanity. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because bulbs are not included.

Light color and feel

Color temperature follows your bulbs. Clear glass spheres let the bulb shape and color show, so warm 2700-3000K bulbs keep the nostalgic look while 3500-4000K reads cleaner and more modern. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer you install; the fixture itself does not restrict it.

Sizing and fit

Overall 6.5 in wide x 16 in high with a 7.25 in extension from the wall. The 4.75 in diameter backplate suits standard bathroom vanity walls. At 16 in tall it sits comfortably above a mirror on an 8-9 ft ceiling. Glass spheres measure 6.5 in diameter x 6 in high. Fixture weight 6 lbs.
