Description
A 20-inch, 3-light flush mount ceiling light with a modern industrial design, finished in polished nickel with smoke glass cone shades.
The Newton Cone collection combines exceptional architectural details with a striking cone-shaped shade. The geometric glass shades give this fixture a charming and timeless presence, while the polished nickel finish adds a sleek, contemporary touch. It's designed for sloped ceilings and is damp-rated, making it versatile for many rooms.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-10 foot ceilings, providing even ambient light
- Bedrooms and living rooms where a low-profile fixture is needed
- Dining areas and kitchens with sloped ceilings
- Covered patios or porches (damp-rated)
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 feet, as the fixture hangs 10.75 inches
How bright is it?
The fixture accepts three 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), so brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard 100W bulbs, you can expect around 1600 lumens per bulb, totaling about 4800 lumens - enough to light a medium-sized room. LED or CFL equivalents can provide similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The smoke glass shades diffuse light, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 19.63 inches in length and width, and 10.75 inches in height. It is designed for sloped ceilings and mounts flush to the ceiling with a 13.75-inch canopy. The glass shades are easily removed for cleaning via four oversized thumb screws.
