Description
A two-light polished nickel wall sconce for bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallways that want a taller, more architectural accent.
The Rutland stretches 24.5 inches tall in a bright polished nickel finish, giving it more presence than a typical sconce without taking up much wall width. Two candelabra sockets sit in an open frame, so the light reads clean and unfussy - a good fit for transitional and modern-classic interiors.
Best for
- Bathrooms flanking a single or double vanity mirror
- Bedrooms as a pair of tall bedside sconces
- Hallways and stairwells where vertical scale adds interest
- Powder rooms and entryways needing a polished accent
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings or tight spots where a 24.5-inch drop crowds the wall
- Rooms that need a primary light source - two 60W candelabra bulbs are accent-level
- Outdoor or damp-exposed locations - no damp or wet rating is stated for this fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With two 60W candelabra bulbs it delivers roughly double the accent light of a single sconce - good for vanity or bedside illumination, not a substitute for a room's main light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose, since none are included. Warm 2700K-3000K candelabra bulbs give a soft, traditional glow that suits the polished nickel; cooler bulbs read crisper and more contemporary.
Sizing and fit
24.5 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 6.25 inches from the wall. The tall profile works best with at least 8-foot ceilings and generous wall space beside a mirror or bed.
