Description
A 14-inch two-light picture light for illuminating artwork, portraits, and framed pieces, finished in satin nickel with a metal shade.
The Ava picture light mounts above a frame and washes light down across the canvas, bringing out color and detail that ambient room light misses. The satin nickel finish gives it a clean, understated look that suits modern and transitional interiors, while the metal shade directs light onto the art rather than into the room.
Best for
- Living rooms and galleries displaying framed art or portraits
- Hallways and stairways lined with photographs or prints
- Home offices with a statement piece above a desk
- Mantels and built-ins where artwork needs accent light
Not ideal for
- Very large canvases wider than 14 inches - the light covers a narrower span
- Rooms where you want general ambient light rather than art accent
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With two 15T-4 incandescent bulbs, it provides focused accent light for artwork rather than room-filling brightness.
Light color and feel
Warm incandescent light from the included bulbs gives a soft, golden wash that flatters oil paintings, portraits, and warm-toned prints. Dimmability is not specified by the manufacturer.
