Description
A 16-inch satin nickel LED picture light that washes artwork and gallery walls in even, warm light.
From House of Troy's Advent Profile collection, this slim picture light is built to sit above a framed piece and cast light down across the canvas without glare bouncing back at the viewer. The satin nickel finish is clean and modern, and the LED bulbs are included so it is ready to use out of the box.
Best for
- Living rooms and hallways with framed art or gallery walls
- Home offices highlighting certificates, prints, or photographs
- Bedrooms with a single statement piece above a dresser or headboard
- Dining rooms accenting artwork near a sideboard
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you want a single bright overhead source - this is an accent light for artwork
- Spaces without a nearby outlet, since it is a plug-in design with a 2-prong cord
- Very large canvases wider than the 16-inch shade
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. The two included LED bulbs give a focused accent glow meant to highlight artwork rather than light a whole room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer. LED picture lights are typically chosen for a clean, even wash that renders colors on the canvas accurately; check the included bulb packaging for the exact tone.
Sizing and fit
The light measures 4 in wide x 10 in deep x 18 in high with an 8-inch extension from the wall and a 16-inch shade, and weighs 3 lbs. The 8-inch extension keeps the light off the artwork surface, and it plugs into a standard outlet with an in-line switch.
