Description
A compact 1-light semi-flush mount for entryways, hallways, and bedrooms, finished in brushed gold with an Ice Mist metal shade.
The Biba collection pairs a modern retro silhouette with a brushed gold finish and a soft Ice Mist metal shade. At just over 8 inches wide, it hugs the ceiling while still making a statement, and the open-bottom shade makes bulb changes easy. It is a natural fit for transitional and modern interiors that need a little warmth overhead.
Best for
- Entryways and hallways where a low-profile ceiling light is needed
- Bedrooms and utility rooms up to medium size
- Bathrooms without direct shower exposure
- Anyone who wants a modern look that mixes easily with existing decor
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or wet locations - rated for dry indoor areas only
- Large rooms that need a high-output primary light
- Spaces where a flush-to-ceiling profile is required - this semi-flush drops about 9 inches
How bright is it?
Up to 800 lumens with a 60W bulb - roughly the brightness of a standard 60W incandescent, enough for ambient light in a hallway or small room, not a primary light for a large space.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. The fixture is dimmable with standard wall dimmers, so you can soften the output for evening use.
Sizing and fit
Overall 8.25 in wide x 9 in high with a 5.25 in square backplate. Works well on standard 8-9 ft ceilings in entryways, hallways, and bedrooms.
