Description
An 8-inch cone-shaped metal lamp shade from Innovations Lighting's Briarcliff collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze - a versatile replacement shade for ceiling fixtures in kitchens, bathrooms, and covered porches.
This Briarcliff shade brings a traditional-industrial look with a restoration-vintage feel. The oil rubbed bronze finish is rich and dark, pairing well with exposed bulbs and vintage-style fixtures. Made of steel and brass, it's durable and rated for damp locations, so it can handle humidity and light moisture.
Best for
- Kitchens with pendant or flush-mount fixtures, adding a vintage industrial accent
- Bathrooms with a vanity light, rated for damp locations
- Covered porches or patios where moisture resistance is needed
- Hallways and entryways with a single-bulb ceiling fixture
- Replacing an old or mismatched shade on an existing fixture
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas fully exposed to rain - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces where you need a fully enclosed fixture to hide the bulb
- Fixtures requiring a specific shade shape other than the cone style
How bright is it?
This is a shade, not a light source - brightness depends on the bulb you install. It fits standard medium-base bulbs, so you can choose your preferred lumen output.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by the bulb you choose. The oil rubbed bronze interior absorbs some light, so the output may be slightly softer than a reflective interior.
Sizing and fit
The shade measures 8 inches wide and 6.12 inches high, fitting most standard ceiling fixtures. It's lightweight at 0.65 lbs, so it won't strain your fixture.
