Description
A compact 3-inch mini pendant from Innovations Lighting, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a white glass shade, perfect for kitchen islands, dining nooks, and hallways.
The Ballston Boreas mini pendant offers sleek style with the ability to customize. It can be fitted with any glass or metal shade from the Franklin collection, allowing you to create a fixture that fits your needs. The oil rubbed bronze finish and white glass shade give it a contemporary, art deco feel.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting over a 4-6 ft counter
- Dining rooms, providing ambient light over a small table or sideboard
- Hallways and entryways, adding a warm welcome at 8-10 ft ceilings
- Bedrooms as a bedside pendant, paired with a dimmer for reading light
- Covered patios and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large open living areas needing bright, primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a floodlight
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 13.75 inches
How bright is it?
With a recommended 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can provide ample light for a small area. If using LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness with lower wattage. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust from bright task lighting to soft ambient glow.
Light color and feel
The white glass shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, even glow. The oil rubbed bronze finish adds a vintage touch, and the cylindrical shape of the shade directs light downward and outward. With dimmable capability, you can create a cozy atmosphere for dining or a bright workspace for cooking.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 3 inches wide, 3 inches deep, and 10 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 13.75 to 130.75 inches using the 10-foot cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 3 lbs.
